Five Star Clean Water was founded by CJ Lamarca, PPS — a 35-year veteran of the Human Safety and Protection industry who relocated to Sunset Beach, NC and was immediately concerned about the local water quality.
After a career protecting the health of employees and patients at organizations like NASA, SpaceX, the U.S. Military, and major health systems across the Carolinas, CJ brought that same expertise home — to serve the Brunswick County families he now calls neighbors.

CJ brings over 35 years of expertise in Human Safety and Protection, specializing in both Air and Water Quality. His background spans some of the most demanding environments in the world — from aerospace and military facilities to major healthcare systems and retail giants.
When CJ and his wife relocated to Sunset Beach, NC, he quickly recognized that the water quality challenges facing coastal Brunswick County families were serious — and that most residents didn't have access to honest, expert guidance. So he founded Five Star Clean Water to fix that.
